Besides stylish limousines, we also have a large fleet of SUVs, sedans and party buses. Let our limousine service present our tips for “Best Camping in Los Angeles County”!

Beach Camping

Malibu wine country

You have many options for beach camping in LA County. Not necessarily the most scenic, nonetheless, Leo Carrillo State Beach might be the most popular camping destination for limos. Situated on the opposite side of the PCH from the beach itself, Leo Carrillo Campground offers free WiFi and is within walking distance of convenience stores. The most scenic beach camp in Malibu however may be Thornhill Broome Beach State Park. Here you can camp right in the sand dunes in front of the waves and fall asleep with an ocean view while waking up to the sights of dolphins. Another limo favorite is Malibu’s Sycamore Canyon Campground, which also sits on the opposite side of the freeway. Want to combine a Malibu wine-tasting tour with a campout at the beach? Try Topanga State Beach, which can be visited by a pathway leading from a popular wine-tasting venue, namely Rosenthal Wine Bar! Another great pick for beach camping is Dockweiler State Beach by LAX.

Mountain & Forest Camping

A campground in Los Angeles, CA
A campground in Angeles National Forest

Some of the best campgrounds can be found in the inland parts of the county. Our favorites include Buckhorn Campground, Meadow Group Campground, Manker Flats Campground, Table Mountain Campground, and Horse Flats Campground. All of these are located in the city’s own backyard national forest, Angeles National Forest. Closer to town, Henninger Flats by Pasadena offers breathtaking views of Los Angeles and the Channel Islands. We have even transferred tourists with limo in Los Angeles to campgrounds such as Buckhorn- and Table Mountain Campgrounds. Buckhorn has a creek where fishing is permitted, and many come here for skiing during winter. At an elevation of over 7,200 ft., Table Mountain keeps closed during winter but opens again during spring. The campground is located in a palm tree forest and offers great panoramic views of the Mojave Desert. The lower Horse Flats Campground (5,000 ft.) sits next to Mt. Hillyer and offers a truly secluded forest campout.

Prefer a mountain with a lower elevation? In the Malibu wine country of the Santa Monica Mountains is where we find Malibu Creek Campground.

Lake Camping

Hiking trail in Angeles National ForestThere are primarily two lakes in the county visited by limousine services for camping. Crystal Lake in the Angeles Forest, and Castaic Lake, by far the largest lake in Los Angeles County. A third alternative is Lake Campground by Jackson Lake. Fishing is permitted in all three lakes, but motorized boats are only allowed in Castaic Lake. Crystal Lake sits at an idyllic 5,800 ft. elevation and offers great opportunities for hiking and picnicking. Swimming, waterskiing and boating are popular activities by Castaic Lake. While a large variety of freshwater fish can be caught in Castaic Lake, Crystal Lake is known for its great trouts. Some of the fish that can be seen in Jackson Lake include trouts, sunfish, bluegill and bass. While there are 60 campsites at Castaic Lake State Recreation Area, there are 180 by Crystal Lake. Lake Campground by Jackson Lake has only 8 campsites. Reserving your site before arrival is therefore highly recommended.

Prefer camping by a river rather than lake? Check out Camp Williams Resort where you can camp on the riverside as close to the San Gabriel River as you can get.

10+ Best Things To Do In Los Angeles!

the-walt-disney-concert-hallTHE CITY OF ANGELS is highly energetic and home to everything from lifestyle gurus, wanna-be-stars and some of the world’s biggest stars and celebrities. Bright lights, big billboard ads and the coolest cars: everyone will find a reason to love L.A. Millions of visitors travel here every year anxious to experience the California dream, walk in the footsteps of their biggest idols or attend concerts or events. The fantasy worlds of Disneyland and Hollywood, the lifestyle of the rich and famous in Beverly Hills and the blooming Malibu beach culture are just some of the attractions in the City of Angels. While not really a city but rather a widespread metropolis, it’s home to over eighty communities connected by an advanced network of busy freeways. Downtown is a mixture of about everything: traditional basketry in Chinatown’s Bamboo Lane, the great sushi bars and Japanese gardens of Little Tokyo, and shopping for souvenirs at the historic Olvera Street. Residents of the city come from 150 countries and speak nearly a hundred languages. First-time visitors to Los Angeles get often overwhelmed: where do you begin? And how to navigate all the highways? The best tip is: keep your cool and make a few priorities and plans in advance.

LA-limo-and-party-bus-serviceFor those interested in the TV- and film industry, Hollywood or Universal Studios are two great starting points (so are Studio City and the Burbank studio tours). For the best beaching, you obviously have many choices in the area: stroll along the Venice- and Santa Monica Beaches for the most popular nearby beaches, or venture to Malibu or Orange County for some of California’s most scenic beaches. Looking to spend time in the great outdoors? LA’s city park, the Griffith Park, is the largest urban park in the nation and home to animals such as mountain lions, bobcats, and more. An alternative is the many hikes in the nearby Santa Monica Mountains for the most outdoorsy LA limo customers. For those with an interest for culture, a great starting point could be the Getty Center, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) or Norton Simon Museum. For the most urban start, head to the Sunset Strip or the Universal CityWalk. For those interested in California wines and vineyards, venture out in nature on Santa Barbara, Temecula or Malibu wine tours guaranteed to offer great wine-tasting and gorgeous sceneries.

  • HOLLYWOOD: Honor your favorite stars at the Hollywood Walk of Fame or head to the Hollywood & Highland Center for great shopping and views of the Hollywood Sign. If you’re into filming and films, definitely see the Kodak Theater where the Oscars takes place, or spend an hour at the Hollywood Museum. Music interested tourists that recently ordered LAX airport transfer through us decided to head straight to the famous music shop, Amoeba Records. Catching a movie at the Chinese Theater is another signature Hollywood experience. So is visiting a couple of the area’s popular nightclubs after dark.
  • UNIVERSAL STUDIOS: One of Los Angeles’ most popular attractions is the Universal Studios Hollywood, said to be the world’s largest movie-studio. The main attraction is the Studio tour, a guided tram ride through the enormous filming complex, for instance by the stars’ wardrobes and scenes from various films such as the Back to the Future movies, Jurassic Park, American Psycho, Jaws, and Wisteria Lane from Desperate Housewives. There are also various popular rollercoasters, carousels and other rides, often based on movies including the Mummy ride, the Jurassic Park water ride, and more.
  • WARNER BROS: The guided tour offered at Warner Bros. is offering larger and more technical insight on how the studios operate. The two-hour long tour often includes live filming of popular television series, and many of our Los Angeles limousine service clientele have told us about seeing different celebrities here including Ellen DeGeneres and others. For other studio tours, check out the Sony Pictures Studio Tours and the Paramount Studio Tours, or the Melody Ranch Motion Picture Studio & Museum or Paramount Ranch.
  • WEST LA: This part of town is where the stars live, shop and go out on town. West L.A. includes some of the most affluent and prestigious LA neighborhoods, including Bel Air and Beverly Hills. You can go on a guided tour to discover the homes of the rich and famous, or buy a map and do the tour on your own. Some of the region’s best restaurants, most trendy restaurants and late-night bars are found along Melrose Avenue and Santa Monica Boulevard. Sunset Strip, which is a part of the larger Sunset Boulevard, is known for its energetic nightlife with numerous nightclubs, bars and fashionable hotels.
  • BEACHES: Miles of sandy beaches are stretching out along the Pacific coast and is a signature part of the Los Angeles lifestyle. Malibu might be the most beautiful seaside city in the county, with its broad beaches, green parks and larger homes. On Santa Monica Beach is where we find the iconic Santa Monica Pier, known for its 1920’s carnival rides and lovely eateries. Venice Beach will give you the classical L.A. experience with beautiful, tanned bodybuilders on Muscle Beach and roller-skaters cruising up and down the boardwalk. Venture a little further south for the nicest beaches in the county, see for instance Manhattan-, Hermosa- and Redondo Beaches. 1,000 Steps Beach in Orange County might be one of America’s most gorgeous beaches and is absolutely worth visiting for a day for relaxation on the beach.
  • GETTY CENTER: Contrary to popular belief, L.A. has an intellectual and refined side. The Getty Center has a larger collection of paintings, photographs and other art collections on a spectacular hill overlooking the Santa Monica’s, the Pacific Ocean and the City of Angels. And best of all, the Getty Center has free admission for every visitor!EAT & DRINK

wp24-dining-roomA recent celebrity chief in a LA limo told us that the L.A. kitchen represents the most creative and experimental cooking in the Western Hemisphere. The city is situated in a global intersection with influences from a cosmopolitan mix of people, foods and culinary traditions.

  • RESTAURANTS & EATERIES: Some of our dining picks would be Ciudad for top-notch tapas and Latin-American meals, and Mélisse for fine French dining with crystal chandlers and many flowers. With its extensive wine menu, the A.O.C. wine bar has become an alternative to Temecula- and Malibu wine tours by serving great local wines accompanied with great food. Asanebo is a relatively undiscovered restaurant known to many as “the world’s best Japanese restaurant.” Try some of their specialties such as the hummer cocktail with caviar or the tasty tuna with onion cream. Hidden away in the fourth floor at the Omni Hotel is one of the city’s most experimental restaurants, Noé, where you for instance can try out the famous shrimp martini(!) To start the day off right with a French omelet and a cappuccino, head to Angelieque Café and enjoy this cozy French-inspired café. For breakfast all day long, check out Square One Dining in West L.A.
  • BARS & NIGHTLIFE: A week of nightly events in the city can give you the taste of everything from celebrity hangout clubs, designer- and salsa bars, and some of the best standup comedy there is. What could possibly be more quintessential Los Angeles than to go party bus barhopping in Hollywood? For some of the best views of Downtown, many head to the Standard hotel for a drink on the rooftop bar overlooking the city with beautiful views. To dance the night away, check out the Avalon, Sound, or Elevate Lounge. At Elevate Lounge you can enjoy views of Downtown from the 21st floor of a skyscraper with panoramic city views. Exchange L.A. is another pick in Downtown, while the Avalon- and Sound nightclubs are the most visited in Hollywood. You’ll enjoy the Spanish music at the Conga Room and the Laugh Factory is definitely an underrated place of fun often visited by celebrities such as Chris Rock and others. Many of the standup comedy venues offer free admission and makes for a great outing. Keep in mind that most of the famous comedians began their careers doing complimentary comedy, this is your chance of discovering the stars even before they’re known!

SHOPPING & ACCOMMODATIONLos-Angeles-limousineFor shopping, Beverly Hills’ Rodeo Drive and Santa Monica’s Third Street Promenade are two beloved destinations for any Los Angeles limousine service. Hollywood and Highland is another great pick for shopping, while your best bets for souvenirs may be the Venice Boardwalk or Downtown’s Olvera Street. Do you wanna see celebrities? Try the boutiques on Robertson Boulevard. For boho-chic-clothes, check out the vintage stores and brand new designer shops on Melrose Avenue and Melrose Place in West Hollywood (Marc Jacobs, Marni, Paul Smith.) The more special stores along Abbot Kinney Boulevard in Venice is another place worth visiting. Montana Avenue and Third Street Promenade are two streets in Santa Monica worth checking out, including the Santa Monica Place shopping mall is a must for shoppers in the region. For designer stores, antiques and art galleries – see Beverly- and Robert Boulevards and Melrose Avenue. For the best selection of unique clothing, see Echo Park, Silver Lake or Los Feliz. A unique Hollywood experience can be to visit a few of the music dealers in town, some which often sign deals with various stars. Amoeba Music on Sunset is a must with its gigantic selections of CD’s and vinyls.

limos-in-Los-Angeles-limo-serviceLodging options are plenty in the L.A. area and you can find a motel, hotel or resort to fit not only your pocketbook, but preferences in location, dining, views, shopping, and so on. For a hotel right on the beach, try out Shutters on the Beach, located on 1 Pico Boulevard in Santa Monica. All the rooms have luxurious bathrooms with bubble baths and spa items. The nice location on the beach and the one-in-a-kind interior make this hotel one of the most popular luxury hotels in the region, and a popular LA limo guest destination. The elegant 1927 Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel was home to the first Oscars. The hotel was popular for local stars and glamour in Hollywood’s golden years, and the hotel bar Teddy’s is still a favorite hangout spot for many of the city’s celebrities. The USA Hostels Hollywood is an energetic and affordable place of accommodation in walking distance from Hollywood’s late-night bars and dance clubs.

    GOOD TO KNOW

  • limousines-Sunset-Strip-HollywoodTHE AIRPORT is fifteen miles southwest of the city. A free airport bus goes from the airport to the Metro Rail Green Line Aviation Station, leaving from the downstairs level on every terminal. You may also take the airport buses to the bus terminal, where you can connect to buses going throughout the Greater Los Angeles Area. Taxis are an option, even though a cab can easily cost more than $50 to your final destination in the L.A. area. An option more convenient may be to order an LAX airport transfer with guaranteed timely arrival.
  • LOCAL TRAFFIC can sometimes be a hazard. The city is so spread out that traveling without a car can be frustrating and time consuming, but so can the local traffic be. A popular option is to rent a car at the airport or car rental company and try to maneuver the freeways. The complicated freeway system may seem intimidating if you are not familiar with driving in big cities, but a rental car and GPS are still the best ways to explore the city. It is possible to get around by bus, but you’ll unfortunately often have to change buses multiple times. The metro system has three lines but covers just a minimal portion of the city, but the metros come and go often which make them a fast and effective way to get around town.
  • LGBT TRAVELERS will enjoy West Hollywood – embraced as “America’s first gay city” when it first was incorporated in 1984, a year the city also elected a lesbian mayor and included the rainbow flag onto its official city flag. Here you will find an array of LGBT-owned and LGBT-friendly businesses, nightclubs, shops, services, bars, hotels, and everything in between. For an iconic Hollywood experience, bring your friends for party bus club-hopping in colorful WeHo!

NEW: Limo Ride From LA to Vegas!

2016-Los-Angeles-to-Las-Vegas-limousine-LA-to-Vegas-limo-serviceFor many in L.A., Sin City is the ideal road-trip destination. Close enough for a drive, yet different enough to offer activities and experiences not available in Southern California. The long distance through nothing much except desert sand, the drive can end up being a hassle for many. Especially when you add the heavy Vegas-traffic and navigating its busy city streets into the equation. But does it need to be that way? Absolutely not! As a pioneer in the emerging LA to Vegas limo industry our L.A.-based services have offered chauffeured luxury rides to Sin City for over fifteen years.

Since the first highways connecting SoCal to Nevada were completed in the 1920’s, L.A.-tourists and locals alike have ventured over the state border for a quick but not too short of a getaway. Well, it may have started with only 450 cars per day making the route in 1927, but today when California has nearly 38 million residents, the story is a different one. While they did not have LAX sedan service companies and the great airports of today, air travel between the two cities already began in 1926 when Western Air Express flew the roundtrip route with passengers for a total price of $80. But why go all the way to Nevada when you’re in sunny Southern California? The simple answer here is – you guessed it – gambling. With the casino-industry really taking off in the 1940’s by New York-investors and others, people from throughout the country ventured to Nevada for its great gambling. But the gambling is far from the only reason our clients are utilizing Los Angeles to Las Vegas limousine services, – Sin City is known throughout the world for its rather huge lit up hotels with neon lights and its busy main street, namely the Strip.

the-service-for-LA-to-Vegas-limousine-rides-Los-Angeles-to-Las-Vegas-limo-2016So what are our clientele doing when they reach Nevada? While most head to the Strip right away, we recently transferred clients from one of our Malibu wine tours that wanted to head there for the great boating in Lake Mead! Your imagination sets the limits on what you can do in Sin City, – from ideal vacations of relaxing in the sun to business- or golf trips. From some of the world’s greatest resort hotels to some of the finest restaurants and shopping, this city has it all. No visit to the city would be complete without checking out some of the metropolitan’s most visited attractions, including the iconic Bellagio water-fountain, the Mirage-volcano, the replica of Paris’ Eiffel Tower at Paris, and not forget the famous welcome sign! An LA to Vegas limo trip can include it all! Whether Nevada is your home or you are going on a vacation, we’ll get you there safely and in a timely matter! A recent order of a Calabasas party bus took us by surprised. A group of college friends started their weekend of partying already when they were picked up at their homes in L.A. What an awesome way of beginning a party-weekend, by partying all the way there! What was rather odd about this particular booking was their first initial stop: the Sloan Petroglyph Site in the tiny community of Sloan, Nevada! Turned out they were geology majors researching the area to learn more about the ancient petroglyphs. Numerous of the more than three hundred pictographs and petroglyphs are from Archaic times, and the site is just minutes south of Las Vegas! A Los Angeles to Las Vegas limousine trip can surely be whatever you make out of it.

So whether you want to cross the Mojave Desert in one of our brand new Calabasas party bus vehicles, or whether you are looking for a simple sedan just to avoid the tiring drive yourself, we’re the premium choice for your transportation needs! Bringing the kids? No problem! With numerous SUV’s, sedans, buses and limousines to choose from, you are guaranteed to find a vehicle for whatever group you’re traveling with. A destination worth checking out with the kids is the Adventuredome Theme Park, which boasts more than twenty-five rides right off the Strip. Occupying more than five acres, this theme-park definitely has a ride for all age-groups. For clients wanting an adventurous outing closer to home, we are proud of being the top rated transportation company for amusement parks such as Disneyland, Six Flags Magic Mountain, Knotts Berry Farm and other theme-parks throughout SoCal. We are also pleased of offering a variety of Malibu wine tours and others, including but not limited to the Santa Ynez Valley, the Santa Maria Valley and Temecula.

Now is the time for a Vegas-excursion! Whether you prefer traveling in one of our limousines, sedans or party buses, or whether you prefer flying your way there, contact us to hear more about our exclusive price-match-guarantee! We not only offer the top rated LA transportation services, but we are also pleased to offer the best rated LAX sedan service available in the greater L.A. region. NEW: Limo Ride From LA to Vegas!

10 Most Visited Los Angeles Tourist Destinations

los-angeles-limo-serviceAs a Los Angeles limo service, we have welcomed and transported tourists in the L .A. area for more than fifteen years. L.A. was visited by more than 42.2 million tourists in 2014, and many chose our LA limo service for their transportation to various venues and events. We are the top rated limousine service in Southern California and we also offer a price match guarantee so you are guaranteed the best price for your special transportation request. This article will highlight what areas were visited the most by tourists using our LA limo service in 2014.

1. Disneyland

LA-LimoIt may come as no surprise as Disneyland is the 7th most visited tourist attraction in America with more than 16.1 million visitors per year, but Disneyland is by far the most popular LA limo destination for domestic- and foreign tourists in L. A. Disneyland opened on 107 acres of land surrounded by orange groves in Anaheim in 1955. Today, Disneyland Anaheim is one most the most visited tourist attractions in the world and hundreds of tourists annually flock with various Los Angeles limo services to the “Happiest Place on Earth”. This amazing collection of shows, adventures, rides, and hundreds of other children’ activities has become a Southern California landmark symbolized by the Castle from Sleeping Beauty and all other Disney characters that originated here in California. Besides the theme park itself, Disneyland it adjacent to Disney’s California Adventure and the Disney resorts. You could easily spend days exploring these park, and because of their size and enormous selections, it is a good idea to plan a few days when visiting the both, especially if you want to see it all. The Magic Kingdom, as it is also referred to, is only twenty minutes south of Los Angeles and is the best family destination in Southern California. The most iconic attractions include Snow White’s Castle, the Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage, Main Street USA (which is based on Walt’s hometown of Marceline, Missouri), the Central Plaza, Sleeping Beauty Castle, and countless other areas and adventures.

LA-Limo-ServiceWe recommend to our LA limo clientele to travel here during weekdays and not during summer time to beat the crowds and also the hundred degree hot weather that not rarely happen in inland areas of our state. Disneyland and the Disney California Adventure are both open daily every day of the year, and it is good idea to try and schedule your trip here outside of the traditional U.S. holidays and other days Americans have off work. The weekends too can get crowded, but the weekends are also the only time besides summer the park stays open till midnight. Areas worth checking out are
Fantasyland, Adventureland, Tomorrowland, Frontierland, Mickey’s Toontown, Critter Country, and New Orleands Square.

Los-Angeles-LimoIn Downtown Disney, many of our Los Angeles limo customers head to the House of Blues, Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen, ESPN Zone, and other restaurants. Other dining options in the area include Anaheim White House, Napa Rose, JW’s Steakhouse, Mr. Stox, Catal Restaurant and Uva Bar, Luigi’s D’Italia, as well as the Blue Bayou, Grand Californian Storytellers Café, Lilo and Stitch’ Aloha Breakfast and Goofy’s Kitchen at Downtown Disney. Some of the most popular rides here include Splash Mountain, Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Indiana Jones Adventure, Thunder Mountain Railroad, Pirates of the Caribbean, It’s A Small World, Space Mountain, Matterhorn, and the Enchanted Tiki Room. As far as accommodation, some popular hotel destinations for us as a Los Angeles limo service include the Disneyland Hotel, Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel and Spa, Hilton Anaheim, Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel, Sheraton Anaheim Hotel, the Anabella, Candy Cane Inn, Anaheim Marriott, Holiday Inn Anaheim at the Park, Sheraton Park Hotel at the Anaheim Resort, and Anaheim Fairfield Inn by Marriot.

2. Hollywood

Limousine-Los-AngelesHollywood comes out as a strong number two for our Los Angeles Limousine clients, and includes one of the most popular tourist spots in the United States, the Hollywood Sign, as well as the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Other popular destinations here include Grauman’s Chinese Theatre (TCL Chinese Theatre), Hollywood Forever Cemetery, the Hollywood Wax Museum, Hollywood Bowl, and the Dolby Theatre. Usually on day two after having arrived from Europe, the East Coast, or other place of origin, LA tourists using us as their Los Angeles limo service oftentimes choose to head for Hollywood. During day time, many of course love seeing the Hollywood Sign or checking out the Walk of Fame, while many head to the clubs and often the Hollywood Bowl and other places with live entertainment after dark. The Times Square of the West, Hollywood & Highland, is a great place for nightlife entertainment in Los Angeles. While most of the film studios have relocated to the Westside and the City of Burbank, Hollywood is particularly known for its world leading entertainment, TV, and film history. The Kodak Theatre is also a popular destination in Hollywood, having been built solely for the purpose of hosting the Academy Awards. The Hollywood Forever Cemetery, the resting place of Hollywood stars such as Douglas Fairbanks and Rudolph Valentino, is also a popular destination for tourists in the LA area. Besides the Hollywood Forever Cemetery, Kodak Theatre and Grauman’s Chinese Theatre, many of our Los Angeles limo customers head to the Magic Castle, the Hollywood & Highland Center, the Lucky Strike Lanes bowling alley, the Hollywood Museum and hotels as the Hollywood Roosevelt and Renaissance Hollywood Hotel. The Hollywood Entertainment Museum, Max Factor Museum, Hellhouse of Hollywood, Cinema Collectors, and the World Book & News are other popular destinations in Hollywood, CA. Call our reservation specialists with any questions you may have. Our drivers are also highly knowledgable about the region, feel free to ask us for tips of when and how to see what!

3. Venice

Limo-LAVenice comes maybe surprisingly as number three, way ahead of Santa Monica. In this category, we have also included Venice Beach and Boardwalk, Muscle Beach Venice, the Venice Canals and surrounding inland areas. Venice is situated only two miles south of Downtown City of Santa Monica, but Venice is a neighborhood of Los Angeles. Bordering walkable Santa Monica Beach Boardwalk to the north and Marina del Rey to the south, the Venice Boardwalk is a popular place for people who want to stroll up or down the beachside. Popular destinations in Venice for LA limo service clients include the Navy Street, where the City of LA and Santa Monica meets, as well as Washington Street and the Venice Pier to the south. Venice is located only fifteen miles southwest of Downtown LA. The sixteen miles of Venice canals, made to duplicate Venice, Italy, are also a tremendously popular destinations for tourists to take photos and stroll along the beautiful inland canals. Once an independent city in California, the increasing population of neighboring LA caused the city to become an LA neighborhood in the early 20th century. The Ocean Front Walk and Venice Beach area are not a place recommended for LA tourists with children to stay, partly because of noise levels, high concentration of homeless people and a higher crime rate than for instance neighboring Santa Monica. For those who wish to stay in Venice, we would like to recommend one of the following hotels: Hotel Erwin, Cadillac Hotel, Inn At Venice Beach, Venice Admiral Suites, or Venice Beach Suites. Among our LA limo clientele, the most popular restaurants in Venice are Piccolo Cipriani, Rose Café, Gjelina, and Joe’s Restaurant. Joe’s Restaurant is located in a century old beach house and serves French- and Californian cuisine and the focus here is at fresh ingredients.

Limousine-Service-in-Los-AngelesBy far the most common activity on Venice Beach and the Ocean Front Walk will end up being people watching, and many come here also for sun bathing, swimming and hanging out at the local beachside cafés and restaurants. It is also a tremendously popular beach for recreational activities such as surfing, skateboarding, basketball, racquetball, shuffleboard, volleyball, handball, and even fishing from the pier. Along with Downtown’s Olvera Street, the Venice Ocean Front Walk is the place to get knock-off products, local crafted art, and maybe the most distinctive souvenirs. On Abbot Kinney Boulevard, named after Venice founder Abbot Kinney, is a popular shopping district and destination for our Los Angeles Limo Service in Venice. On the first Friday of every month, the galleries and shops here stay open until 10 pm. Venice is also known for its food trucks, including for instance Korean Kogi BBQ food trucks, Vietnamese Nom Nom, Dim Sum Truck, Ludo Fried Chicken, Coolhaus and tons of out of this world Mexican food trucks with delicious authentic tacos, tamales, torta, mole, and of course, fajitas, burritos, chimichangas, enchiladas, and nachos.

4. Universal City

Limo-in-LAUniversal Studios Hollywood and the Universal CityWalk are two tremendously popular destinations among LA Limo tourists. Another venue included here is the Gibson Amphitheater. While the Universal CityWalk is a popular shopping area, Universal Studios is one of the most popular theme parks in America. Universal Studios does not only offer rollercoasters but also studio tours through the park’s 420 acres of movie sets where you will see the actual filming locations for numerous Hollywood movies, such as Jaws, Desperate Housewives, Psycho (1960), and War of the Worlds (2005) to mention a few. The studio tour tram tour to the King Kong: 360 3-D is a relatively recent attraction that opened in 2010. This attraction takes the tram rider to Skull Island from the 2005 movie King Kong and uses wind, water, motions, screens, and so many more techniques. Our LA limo service clients absolutely love it. With more than five million visitors annually, this park, just as Disneyland, can get very crowded on certain days. Many of the park attractions are based on Universal movies, for instance their Revenge of the Mummy roller coaster, Terminator 2 3d, or the Jurassic Park ride and Shrek 4D film experience. The newly constructed the Simpsons ride is also tremendously popular. After or before checking out the Universal Studios, many of our LA limo clients love strolling down the three block Universal CityWalk, which is a promenade adjacent to the amusement park with a Disney like feeling and many top brand stores and restaurants. It is located in Universal City, right between the San Fernando Valley and Hollywood, off the U.S. Highway 101 at either the Lankershim Boulevard Exit or the Universal Center Drive Exit.

5. Sunset

Limo-in-Los-AngelesSunset Strip on Sunset Boulevard is an extremely popular destinations for all LA Limo Service clients. With all its fashionable boutiques and late night nightlife, Hollywood is LA’s never sleeping neighborhood. For European style dining, many head to the Sunset Plaza for dinner, then head out to clubs and bars such as the popular Viper Room, Whisky a Go-Go, Andaz Hollywood, Ranbow Bar and Grill, and other areas. The Sunset Strip only makes up about 25 miles of Sunset Boulevard, but nevertheless, the Sunset Strip is a hugely popular Los Angeles limo destination. Mondrian on Sunset Boulevard is home to the Sky Room, which is a tremendously popular night destination. This is also a place for people who wanna see and experience the areas where their favorite films were made, for instance, many love to visit the Cajun Bistro which was included in the Woody Allen movie Annie Hall. Just up the street is the Chateau Marmont, which is where world known actor John Belushi overdosed and died. The Comedy Store is another popular Sunset destination, which might be the best stand up venue in the Greater L. A. area, at least judging by the number of visits by our Los Angeles limo service, which is the top rated LA limo service. The Sunset Tower, previously known as the Argyle, is also a hugely popular destination on Sunset.

6. Beverly Hills

LA-Limousine-ServiceMany tourists in the LA area love to go window shopping at Rodeo Drive and surrounding areas, and check out the filming locations for many of their favorite movies filmed in Beverly Hills. Other popular LA limo destinations in Beverly Hills include the Beverly Hills Hotel, Greystone Mansion, the Beverly Wilshire Hotel, and the Saban Theatre. The triangle of the most expensive real estate property in America – the Beverly Hills, the Holmby Hills and Bel-Air – is a place we visit all the time for tourists and locals alike. Many come for great window shopping on Wilshire Boulevard, Rodeo Drive and Santa Monica Blvd in the area, where many famous retail stores are located, e.g. Bvlgari, Gucci, Saks Fifth Avenue, and so many more. Many check out the art galleries here – which are among the finest in the world – as well as all the fine restaurants here, many which are tremendously successful award winning restaurants. Many of our Los Angeles limo clients love dining at the Crustacean and Wolfgang Puck’s flagship restaurant of Spago Beverly Hills. Many love the art collections by Rembrandt, Chagall, Picasso and Matisse found at the Galerie Michael. Many love visiting the Beverly Hills Hotel for their outstanding breakfast in the twelve acre tropical garden, often served with live entertainment. Besides the Iranian capital, Beverly Hills has the highest amount of Persians in the world, and consequently, it is in Beverly Hills we find some of the greatest Persian cuisine in the world. Some great Persian restaurants include the Ruby Room Restaurant on Wilshire, Taste of Tehran on Westwood Blvd, Panini Cafe Beverly Hills on Santa Monica Boulevard, and Momed Beverly Hills on South Beverly Hills Drive. Some other great restaurants in Beverly Hills include the Bazaar by José Andrés, Bouchon Bistro, Oliverio, BLT Steak and Urasawa. For accommodation, the most popular hotels amongst our LA limo clientele are the Avalon, Best Western Carlyle Inn, the Beverly Hills Hotel, the Beverly Hills Plaza Hotel, the Beverly Hilton (home of the Golden Globe Awards), the Beverly Wilshire, the Crescent, Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills, Hotel Beverly Terrace, Luxe Hotel Rodeo Drive, Maison 140, Montage Beverly Hills, the SLS Hotel at Beverly Hills, Sofitel Los Angeles, Thompson Beverly Hills, Peninsula Beverly Hills, the Sunset Tower Hotel, Sunset Marquis Hotel and Villas, Orange Drive Manor Hotel, Mondrian, and the Le Montrose Suite Hotel.

7. Santa Monica

Limo-Service-in-Los-AngelesIn this category, we have included all going to Santa Monica State Beach, Santa Monica Pier, Third Street Promenade and the Santa Monica Place, which are all popular destinations in Santa Monica. The breezy beach front City of Santa Monica is an ideal destination for strolling the streets and leisurely shopping. The Third Street Promenade, which is a pedestrian shopping street in walking distance of the Santa Monica Pier. The 3rd Street Promenade has over 200 famous retail stores, includes brands such as Mac, Zara, Gap, Borders, and some many more world famous brands. Known for its sun, sand and surf, Santa Monica is a popular place for beachgoers and others who like exploring the trendy restaurants, coffeehouses and shops along the Santa Monica Beach Boardwalk. Safer but just as vibrant as neighboring Venice Beach, this western enclave of Los Angeles is also known for all its clubs, bars and restaurants, which are all frequently visited by our Los Angeles Limo Service clientele. First inhabited Gabrieleno Native Americans for centuries in the pre-Columbian era, the City of Santa Monica got its street- and place names during the Spanish- and Mexican colonial times. During the first years as a city in the United States, Santa Monica in the late 1800s was primarily a resort town and vacation destination for Californians.

Limousine-LAThe Santa Monica Pier was first built in 1916, after the town was unsuccessful in its request to become Los Angeles principal seaport. The current Pacific Park carousel on the pier has been depicted in numerous films and TV series, including but not limited to the Sting, Inside Daisy Clover, They Shoot Horses, Don’t They?, The Tonight Show With Jay, The Movie, 90210, Hannah Montana: The Movie, Fat Albert, and many many more. Movies and TV series filmed on the surrounding beach includes Forrest Gump, Iron Man, Baywatch, Pacific Blue, NCIS: Los Angeles, Speed, the Doors, Ruthless People, Beverly Hills Cop III, Clean Slate, the Net, Cellular, Private Practice, and numerous others. Besides the pier, beach, promenade, Pacific Park and Muscle Beach, some of the other popular LA limo destinations in the city of Santa Monica includes the Santa Monica Pier Aquarium, Bergamot Station, Santa Monica Looff Hippodrome, Museum of Flying, Angeles Attic, Santa Monica Museum of Art, Santa Monica Civic Auditorium, and the Woodlawn Cemetery. We are tremendously proud of not only being the largest LA limo service, but also the top rated provider of limo service in Santa Monica.

8. Griffith Observatory

Limo-Service-in-LAAs many first go here, and then head to Griffith Park locations – such as the LA Zoo, the Autry Museum of Western Heritage, the Greek Theater, and hiking trails to the Hollywood sign – the Griffith Observatory would probably be ranking higher if combined with some of the surrounding areas. Situated high on the southeastern slope of the Santa Monica Mountains, high up on Mount Hollywood, overlooking all of Los Angeles in a magnificent way. The fact that it is one of very few places this great with free admission doesn’t make it worse. Completed in 1935, the Griffith Observatory could be the most visible landmark in the City of Los Angeles. The idea of a free public observatory came from Griffith J. Griffith, who donated much of his land in Rancho Los Feliz and also donations of more than $100,000 to the city in 1896. After thirty years of building, the Griffith Observatory overlooking LA was finished in 1935. The structure and its facilities has since been approved hugely by numerous donations, and is a state-of-the-art observatory which is hugely popular for its Samuel Oschin Planetarium, its rooftop visa overlook with magnificent panoramic views over Los Angeles, as well as the Zeiss star projector, solar telescopes, and laser projection shows.

Los-Angeles-LimousineThe observatory itself has been featured in numerous movies. It was for instance the setting of the school trip and dramatic school chase in Rebel Without A Cause (1955), and also featured in Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle, Transformers, Terminator, Yes Man and numerous other films, including three 2015 movies: Terminator Genisys, San Andreas, and McFarland, USA. The Griffith Observatory has also been featured in numerous Hollywood TV series, including 24, Adventures of Superman, Beverly Hills, 90210, Criminal Minds, Star Trek: Voyager, the Wonder Years, the Amazing Race, and the pilot episode of none the less than MacGyver. This astronomical LA icon and astronomy museum now features an array of high tech exhibits and it has never been a better time to visit LA’s observatory. The Samuel Oschin Planetarium screens four films on astronomy topics and after the most recent refurbishments, the observatory is more worth visit than ever before. We often hear from our LA limo drivers how families and kids alike find the interactive exhibits, the thrilling Tesla coil, the Gunther Depths of Space, the gigantic photo mural of the universe, and so many of the attractions here to be very educational.

9. Los Angeles Zoo

LA-Limousine-ServiceThe Los Angeles Zoo and Botanical Gardens has been one of the top ten attractions in LA since it was founded in 1966. The 1,200 animals here include species from throughout the world, and this zoo is smaller and easier to navigate than the much larger San Diego Zoo. It is located in the isolated hills of Griffith Park, which is a popular destination as well, for instance for hikers to the Hollywood Sign or Bronson Canyon. Located on more than 133 acres of land, this zoo has the advantage of never feeling to overcrowded. Partly because the zoo itself has been around for decades, and many tourists preferring newer developments such as the many theme parks. Visitors to the LA Zoo will see animals such as elephants, chimpanzees, tigers, koalas, gibbons, sea lions, gorillas, and countless other species. It is particularly popular among LA tourists with kids. The Winnick Family Children’s Zoo offers a petting area, exhibition area, and even an Adventure Theater with story telling, children activities, and kids’ shows. The only negative we have ever heard about the Los Angeles Zoo is from LA limo customers arriving early in the morning and encountering large amounts of field trip kids. To avoid that, try going after noon or even in the weekend, even though every L .A. attraction is more visited during the weekends, holidays, and other times Americans have off work. It is also a Disney set here with animals as meerkats and other Lion King characters. The Adventure Island has a petting zoo popular for children, and the Children’s Discovery Center is an interactive play station for kids at the zoo.

10. The Getty Museum

With more than 1.3 million visits in 2014, it is no wonder the J. Paul Getty Museum – or more commonly referred to by the locals – the Getty. The museum is among the most visited in America and is situated on a hillside in the Santa Monica Mountains, only reachable by their tram. Many of our Los Angeles limo clients come here to enjoy the great panoramic views over Los Angeles and to hang out in the Central Garden and Stark Sculpture Garden. The museum was designed by Richard Meier and was completed in 1997 to a total cost of more than a billion dollars. It is located in the Sepulveda Pass, next to the I-405 Freeway. Besides a museum and parks, it houses also Getty’s conservation, research, and grand programs through the Getty Foundation. Many tourists utilizing our Los Angeles limo service come here to get the best postcard-style photos of L .A. with the beaches and great Pacific.

Limousine-Los-AngelesOthers barely making the list include the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Downtown, the Staples Center, the Museum of Contemporary Art, the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County, the Getty Villa in Pacific Palisades, L.A. Live, the Dodger Stadium, Los Angeles Convention Center, the Greek Theatre, the Los Angeles City Hall, Ahmanson Theatre, Museum of Jurassic Technology in Culver City, Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels, Grauman’s Egyptian Theatre, Six Flags Magic Mountain, and the Pantages Theatre.

California Wine traces its history back to 1769 and the first Spanish Missions, which would plant the first Californian vineyards in what is now Santa Barbara County and use the wine for their Roman-Catholic Mass. In 2015, there are more than 3,000 wineries across the State of California, which account for the production of 89 percent of American-made wine. If the state were a separate nation, it would have been the 4th largest global wine-producer, only surpassed by the Mediterranean countries of Italy, France, and Spain. California produced 620 million gallons of wine in 2014, according to the Wine Institute, and the California wine industry is an $18 billion industry in terms of retail sales.

America has 1,100,000 acres under vine

An estimated twenty million people visit the state’s wineries each year, many through guided limousine wine tours, and the wine industry accounts for 300,000 California-based jobs. Of the 750 million gallons of U.S.-made wine produced in 2014, Californians consumed more than a fifth of all the wine consumed in America. Much of California wine is exported to European nations, where the wine consumption is at minimum twice as much as in the United States. While America has an annual wine consumption of only 11 bottles per person a

year, Britain has an annual wine consumption of more than 22 bottles per person per year. Germans consume three times more wine than Americans, and the French a whopping six times more. That is 66 wine-bottles per French person annually! Italy and the Vatican rate even higher than France, while Norwegians, Slovaks, Danes, Poles, Swedes, Finns, Dutch, Swiss, and so many other Europeans consume at minimum double the amount of wine per year as the average American. The wine industry is an integral part of the social- and cultural fabric of California, and both the number of wineries, vineyards, and wine consumption per capita is steadily increasing for every year in the Golden State.

While many assume that Northern California’s Sonoma- and Napa counties dominate the Californian wine industry, even though the two counties combined in reality account for less than a fifth of California’s wine-grape vineyards. Retaining old- and gaining new customers is a tough balancing act for the contemporary California-wineries. Some want to lure new premium costumer consumers into the fold by promoting an entry to an elite Wine Country lifestyle and serve the most exclusive wines produced in the specific region. But as wineries push for pricey wines and its pretensions on wine-newbies, they risk scaring uninitiated customers away all together. While some wineries offer nearly complimentary wine-tastings, others charge up to a $50 tasting fee. Make sure to ask our limo wine tour specialists about information and pricing on various wineries. vineyards are located throughout the state, with famous regions such as Napa County, Sonoma County and Mendocino County in Northern California, as well as regions such as Santa Barbara County, Malibu Canyons, Santa Maria Valley and Santa Ynez Valley in Southern California. During a wine competition entitled “Judgment of Paris” in 1976, California wines rated the best in each of the categories. The shockwave of the Europeans being beaten at home at their own game reverberated around the world and was an important turning point for California wines’ popularity worldwide. The seven most consumed wine grapes produced in California are Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Merlot, Pinot noir, Sauvignon blanc, Syrah, and Zinfandel.

All wine consumed in the America is drunk by only one-fifth of the U.S. population. The equivalent number is substantially higher in California, in which wine-consumption accounts for a fifth of all wine consumed in the U.S. There are several factors to why Californians are overrepresented among Americans in wine-consumption as well as wine-production. The number one factor might be that the wine legacy is higher in Europe and California, as opposed to other parts of the United States. California wine has only been made in commercial quantities in California for about 150 years, while in Southern Europe it has been an important cultural drink since the times of the Roman Empire. Moreover, Americans of non-European ancestry, such as African-Americans, Asian-Americans, and Americans of Hispanic origins tend to have little previous exposure to wines.

While wine is a culinary culture in Western Europe enjoyed for centuries, Americans in general tend to view wine solely as a special-occasion drink, a drink to be enjoyed for a special meal or a special occasion, rather than consumed every day. While it is correct that top-notch quality wine might be too costly for most people to be enjoying a bottle day, keep in mind that it can be stored and remain fresh for as much as five days. Most people will save their high-end exclusive and more expensive wines for a special occasion, and rather drink a less classy house wine for everyday meals, which still tastes great but at a price far more inviting for an everyday drink. Chardonnay, merlot, cabernet sauvignon, and white zinfandel accounted for more than half of the wines sold in California in 2012. The Oscar winning movie Sideways (2004), a comedy-drama that follows two bachelors on a voyage of self-discovery through the Santa Barbara County Wine Country, did wonders for the sales of Santa Barbara pinot noir, as well as other types of wines from Santa Barbara County, including wines of the city of Santa Barbara, the Santa Ynez Valley, Los Olivos, Santa Maria Valley, Buellton, Ballard, and Solvang.
